Qualifications

The studio provides private in-home and online music lessons to students throughout the Boston MetroWest area. Role Description

This is a part-time Guitar Teacher role located in the Greater Boston area. The Piano Teacher will provide individual voice lessons to students of all age groups and skill levels. Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging lessons, teaching music theory and guitar techniques, tracking student progress, and preparing students for performances or auditions. Collaboration with parents, other teachers, and studio staff to enhance the overall student experience is also essential.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Piano Coaching and Teaching
• Thorough knowledge of Music Theory
• Experience or education in Music Education, particularly with diverse age groups and skill levels
• Demonstrated ability to foster growth in both technical skills and musical artistry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students and their families
• Flexibility to work part-time, accommodating the schedules of students and their families
• A bachelor’s degree in Music, Guitar Performance, Music Education, or a related field is preferred
• Prior experience teaching guitar lessons is highly desirable
