Role Description

This contract role is for a Piano and Vocal Instructor based on-site in Fort Mill, SC, providing primarily in-home lessons to students within the surrounding communities. The instructor will teach piano and voice to children and adults at varying skill levels, designing lesson plans that support technical development, musical expression, and confidence. Day-to-day tasks include preparing individualized curriculum, conducting one-on-one lessons, tracking student progress, and communicating with families about goals and scheduling. The instructor will travel to students’ homes within the designated service area, maintain punctual and professional behavior, and support Creative Melodies’ standards for a positive, inclusive learning environment. The role also involves occasional participation in recitals or studio events and providing guidance on practice routines and performance readiness.
