Job summary

Kindergarten Round Up Childcare is seeking a creative Piano Teacher to introduce children aged 3-12 to the joy of music through engaging and age-appropriate piano lessons.

The role is part-time and paid hourly, with responsibilities including planning lessons, fostering musical skills, and communicating progress to parents. Recitals or performances may be organized as appropriate, in a nurturing daycare setting.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience teaching music to young children.
  • Degree in music or related field is preferred, but not required.
  • Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the daycare team and engage with parents.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Background check required.

  • Teach basic piano techniques and music theory to young children.
  • Plan and prepare lessons that are fun, interactive, and tailored to the developmental needs of young children.
  • Introduce students to musical concepts such as rhythm, pitch, and melody.

  • Organize and participate in small music recitals or performances (when appropriate).

Job Description

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Piano Teacher to introduce children (ages 3-12) to the joy of music through engaging and age-appropriate piano lessons. This part-time role will involve planning and teaching beginner piano classes, encouraging students to develop basic music skills, and fostering a love of music.
