Job summary

Wellness Creative, LLC in Lexington, KY is seeking a warm part-time piano instructor to teach private and semi-private lessons for children aged 5 and up. You will guide beginners to intermediate players with patience and professionalism in a welcoming setting.

The role includes teaching space, scheduling, billing, and onboarding support; instruments and materials are provided. Evening availability is required, with optional Saturday hours.

Qualifications

• Piano proficiency and ability to read music.

• Willingness to work evening hours (and occasional Saturdays).
• Must pass a background check.

We’re hiring a Part-Time Piano Instructor to teach at either of our Lexington locations (501 Darby Creek Road or 118 Dennis Drive). We primarily serve children and are looking for someone who brings warmth, patience, reliability, and professionalism to their teaching.

We make it easy for you to focus on teaching. Wellness Creative provides the students, teaching space, scheduling, billing, and administrative support—no need to build your own studio or manage payments and enrollment. This is a W-2 employee position designed to let instructors spend more of their time doing what they love—teaching. Paid onboarding and training are provided.

Responsibilities

• Teach private and semi-private piano lessons to students ages 5+
• Teach your instrument confidently and provide beginner to intermediate level instruction
• Create a supportive, encouraging learning environment
• Use provided lesson resources and activities; instruments and lesson materials are provided
• Communicate clearly with families and the Wellness Creative team regarding scheduling and student progress

Required Availability (Evenings)

To meet our highest-demand lesson times, applicants must be available:

3:00 pm–8:15 pm at least 2 weekdays (Monday–Friday)

Optional Saturday hours: 9:30 am–12:30 pm

Required Qualifications

-Strong piano skills and proficiency in reading music

-Comfortable working with children

-Ability to consistently work the evening availability listed for this position

-Ability to successfully pass a background check
