Job summary

Omaha School of Music and Dance is seeking a Piano Instructor. The role emphasizes organized, punctual, reliable, and fun teaching. Evening and Saturday hours are available; you set your schedule. OSMD staff handle scheduling, parental communication, and billing, so you can focus on teaching.

We welcome candidates with degrees in Music Performance or Music Education, though all are encouraged to apply if they have piano teaching experience and a passion for students.

Qualifications

• Degree in Music Performance or Music Education preferred.
• Experience teaching piano to students of various ages is desirable.
• Candidate should be organized, punctual, reliable and engaging.

Responsibilities

• Teach piano to students; create engaging lessons and progress plans.
• Coordinate scheduling with OSMD staff and communicate with parents as needed.
• Maintain attendance and student progress notes; foster a fun learning environment.

OSMD is seeking a Piano Instructor! We prefer someone with a degree in Music Performance or Music Education, but all are welcome to apply! The person we are looking for will be organized, punctual, reliable, experienced, and fun! Hours are available evenings and Saturdays, you set your schedule!

OSMD has a several full time and part time administrative staff who take care of filling your schedule, communicating with parents, tuition billing, make up lesson scheduling, and tons more. Our goal is for you to be able to come and teach your students and we take care of the rest!
