Glenda Mitchell Law Firm in Georgia and Alabama seeks a Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Paralegal to manage high‑volume pre‑litigation cases under the firm owner’s guidance. You will coordinate with the Demand Department, negotiate settlements with adjusters, ensure accurate ledgering of medical balances, and keep clients informed every step of the way for strong, justice‑driven outcomes.

This role emphasizes ownership, teamwork, and frontline involvement in delivering exceptional client service

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of personal injury experience.
• Strong negotiation and client-facing communication skills.
• Proactive, independent, and able to manage multiple cases.
• Excellent teamwork and ability to collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre-litigation cases after demand package and settlement offer.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters to maximize client recovery.
• Present settlement offers and explain calculations to clients.
• Ensure medical provider balances are reconciled for accurate settlements.
• Coordinate with ownership and other departments to transition to litigation when needed.
• Supervise a Pre-Litigation Assistant and delegate tasks.
• Monitor case progress and resolve blockers to maintain momentum.
• Handle incoming calls and route them appropriately.
• Focus exclusively on pre-litigation settlements.
