Wheeler Staffing Partners in El Segundo, CA is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys handling complex personal injury cases, including trucking accidents and general negligence.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of litigation experience, with 3 years in personal injury, and strong drafting, discovery, and federal court procedures. This onsite role offers a competitive salary with a 10% performance bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Minimum 3 years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Experience handling commercial trucking accident and general negligence cases.
• Strong knowledge of federal court procedures and electronic filing.
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.

Responsabilités

• Draft and prepare pleadings, petitions, motions, discovery requests, responses, and legal correspondence.
• Support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, from initial filing through settlement or trial.
• Manage discovery processes, document production, and case-related deadlines.
• Prepare and organize trial exhibits, case materials, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain accurate electronic case files and litigation records.
• Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation activities.
• Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, court personnel, and other parties.
• Monitor court deadlines and ensure timely filing of legal documents.
• Assist with complex personal injury cases involving six- and seven-figure case values.
• Provide additional litigation support during trials, including extended hours when necessary.
