Job summary

United Therapeutics Corporation's IVIVA Medical team in Medford, MA invites a Physiology Co-op to work hands-on with engineered tissue technologies, cell culture, tissue assessment, and experimental research. You will learn from experienced engineers and biologists while contributing to projects that push boundaries in healthcare.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in engineering or biology.
• Junior or above year students considered; 40 hours/week onsite.
• Relevant coursework in biomedical/engineering or biology; familiarity with cell culture appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Assemble culture system components and perform mammalian cell seeding.
• Maintain tissue culture experiments and aseptic technique.
• Execute SOP-based assays and contribute to data reports and analyses.
• Assist with reports creation and contribute to ongoing projects.
