Job summary

MTF Biologics is offering a Co-op in Research and Development in Edison, New Jersey, from January 2027 through June 2027. The position supports R&D activities by conducting experiments, literature searches, and tissue processing per SOPs, with allograft tissue characterization and data analysis.

Candidates must be enrolled in a college program during the co-op and report to Edison five days a week, 8:15am–4:30pm.

Qualifications

• Completion of at least one to three years college credit toward a degree in Engineering or Science.
• Must be enrolled in a college or University during the Co-op period.
• Good organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participates in processing tissue, planning and performing experiments and analyzing results for R&D projects.
• Performs biochemical assays, mechanical testing, and other preclinical in vitro testing.
• Performs literature searches and compiles summaries.
• Researches competitive products and updates libraries.
• Maintains lab notebook and prepares data summaries and reports.
• Performs additional duties as assigned and trained.

Overview

The Co Op Research and Development will support R&D activities by conducting experiments and literature searches related to product and process development, processing allograft tissue forms based on protocols or SOPs, performing tissue/device characterization testing, and analyzing experimental data.

Co-op is from January 2027 to June 2027

$25 - $32 per hour

Must be able to report to Edison 5 days a week. Monday thru Friday, 8:15am - 4:30pm.

You must be enrolled in a college or University during the Co-op period.
