Job summary

Takeda's Biotherapeutics Process Development team in Lexington, MA is seeking a motivated co-op to perform hands-on cell culture experiments and assist upstream process development. • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (engineering, biotech, chemistry).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn techniques and multitask in a fast-paced lab.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor experiments using cell culture and upstream unit operations (bench-top bioreactors, Ambr, shake flasks, WAVE bioreactors).
• Operate and monitor bioprocess equipment using DeltaV or similar process control systems.
• Prepare cell culture media, feed, and buffers.
• Document experimental work in electronic notebooks with clear, accurate records.
• Perform basic data analysis to evaluate trends and support conclusions.
• Prepare technical summaries and study updates to communicate findings.
