Job summary

CSU Bakersfield is seeking an Instructional Student Assistant (ISA) for Physics and Engineering to support instructors with grading papers and leading lab activities. The ISA may assist in lab sessions, manage the department website, and handle Canvas logistics while providing group and individual academic support to students.

The position is open to matriculated CSUB students, with hours ranging from 0 to 20 per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support to assigned instructors by grading papers in a variety of courses or facilitating group work and discussions.
• Assist the instructor in lab/activity sessions, and/or perform other duties as assigned by the Department Chair in consultation with the appropriate faculty member.
