Job summary

CSU Bakersfield is seeking an Instructional Student Assistant (ISA) in Mathematics to support grading and classroom activities. The role involves assisting instructors with math courses, facilitating group work, and helping with lab and Canvas management.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support to assigned instructors in mathematics by grading papers in a variety of mathematics courses or facilitating group work and discussions.
• Assist the instructor in lab/activity sessions, and/or perform other duties as assigned by the Department Chair in consultation with an appropriate faculty member.
• Department’s website management.
• Canvas management.
• Perform individual and/or group academic support
