Job summary

Laurel Ridge Community College is seeking an adjunct, part-time Physics faculty member to teach college-level courses, including possible online distance learning, on an as-needed basis.

Assignments may span day, evening and weekend schedules and occur at Middletown, Fauquier, and Luray-Page County locations. Applicants must reside in VA, WV, MD or DC; transcripts are required with the application.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physics or eighteen graduate credit hours in Physics required.
• Ability to use instructional technology is required.
• Experience teaching college-level courses, including online learning, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach college-level Physics courses on a course-by-course basis.
• Deliver day, evening and weekend classes, including distance learning.
• Positions located at Middletown Campus, Fauquier Campus, and Luray-Page County Center as needed.
• Adjunct roles may require reside in Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland or DC.
