Job summary

Dyersburg State Community College invites applicants for Physics adjunct instructors for day, evening, and online classes held in Dyersburg, Covington, Paris, or at one of our other off-campus centers. Initial assignment may be at one of our teaching locations, but the official work station assignment may change each semester.

The successful applicant will become certified and fully use the course management system (eLearn) for all classes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in Physics.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff.
• Experience teaching at the college level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned physics courses at multiple campuses.
• Prepare materials and evaluate student learning.
• Maintain records and submit reports on time.
• Participate in required meetings and deadlines.
