Job summary

Dyersburg State Community College invites applicants to teach business courses across Dyersburg, Covington, Paris, or other off-campus centers. Instructors may be assigned at different teaching locations each semester and will use the eLearn system for all classes.

Responsibilities include preparing materials, evaluating student learning, maintaining records, reporting attendance and final grades, and communicating needs to the chair/dean. A part-time adjunct position with campus variability.

Qualifications

• Transfer courses require a Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Business.
• Non-transfer courses require a Bachelor’s degree with teaching experience or graduate work.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and college personnel.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned business courses at Covington, Dyersburg, and/or Paris; prepare course materials.
• Evaluate student learning, maintain class records, and submit required reports on time.
