Total Access Urgent Care (TAUC) is recruiting dedicated physicians to provide high-quality, compassionate care in an acute care setting. TAUC operates across 35+ locations in the Greater St. Louis region, delivering fast, friendly, and affordable healthcare since 2008.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine (with pediatric experience) preferred.
• Licensed in state of practice.
• Experience with suturing and abscess I&D.
• Experience reading X-rays and EKGs.
• Clinical experience in emergency/urgent/ambulatory care highly preferred.
• ACLS and PALS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a level of care that goes beyond the traditional urgent care setting.
• Ensure comprehensive care for patients of all ages.
• Perform procedures including EKG interpretation, X-ray interpretation, abscess I&D, splinting, laceration repair, IV hydration, and medication administration.
• Serve as a role model and leader for the clinical team.
• Communicate test results, follow-up care, and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers.
• Work with a dynamic team and scribes to optimize patient flow.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide a level of care that goes beyond the traditional urgent care setting
• Ensure comprehensive care for patients of all ages
• Procedures to include EKG and X-ray interpretation, abscess incision and drainage, infection management, reduction of dislocations, splinting of minor fractures, laceration repair, IV hydration, and medication administration
• Serve as a role model and leader for the clinical team
• Communicate test results, follow-up care, and treatment plans
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers
• Work with an energetic, highly-trained support team, including many shifts with a scribe

Minimum Qualifications

• Board Certified (or Board Eligible) in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine (with pediatric experience) preferred
• Licensed in state of practice
• Experience with procedures such as suturing and abscess I&D
• Experience with reading diagnostic studies, including X-rays and EKGs
• Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care highly preferred
• ACLS and PALS Certification preferred
