Qualifications

• 2+ years clinical experience in emergency medicine/urgent care/ambulatory care

What You’ll Do

• Provide a level of care that goes beyond the traditional urgent care setting
• Ensure comprehensive care for patients of all ages
• Perform procedures that include EKG and X‑ray interpretation, abscess incision and drainage, infection management, reduction of dislocations, splinting of fractures, laceration repair, IV hydration, and medication administration
• Serve as a role model and leader for the clinical team
• Communicate test results, follow‑up care, and treatment plans
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with physicians
• Work with an energetic, highly‑trained support team, including many shifts with a scribe

Minimum Qualifications

• Board Certified (or Board Eligible) Physician Assistant
• Experience with procedures such as suturing and abscess I&D
• Experience with reading diagnostic studies, including X‑rays and EKGs
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care (highly preferred)
• ACLS and PALS Certification preferred
