Job summary

Rutherford Regional Health System, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Physician Services Operations Analyst to analyze financial, operational and performance data from physician practices and translate findings into actionable insights.

You will work with leadership to develop monthly reports, identify opportunities to improve efficiency, and support strategic initiatives across departments to help make communities healthier.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
• Three+ years of experience as an analyst; healthcare or physician practice operations experience a plus.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable recommendations.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel with ability to analyze data, develop reports, and present findings to leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for leadership, management and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for operational improvement and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational, financial, and performance data to identify trends and support data-driven decision-making.
• Develop and present monthly reports, performance metrics, and actionable insights to leadership.
• Identify opportunities and strategies to improve operational efficiency and financial performance across physician practices.
• Evaluate policies and workflows to recommend improvements that streamline processes and strengthen efficiency.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and coordination.
