Job summary

SteadyMD Inc. seeks a licensed physician for virtual patient care across urgent, primary, weight management and mental health programs. Evaluations occur via video, phone, and async messages for patients of all ages.

This is a 1099 contractor role, with compensation about $120/hour. Requires MD/DO and multiple state licenses (5+ or 10+ with key states); telemedicine experience and TP proficiency are needed. Malpractice tail coverage provided.

Qualifications

• Active MD/DO with multiple state licenses (5+ with GA, TN, IN, MO, SC, MS, AL) or 10+ including CA, FL, NY, TX, VA.
• Board Certification in Family, Emergency or Internal Medicine preferred.
• 3+ years of independent practice; telemedicine experience preferred.
• Proficiency with technology platforms for telemedicine delivery.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to work autonomously.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care across SteadyMD's programs (urgent, weight management, lab review, remote monitoring, primary care).
• Conduct evaluations via video, phone (scheduled and on-demand), and asynchronous communication with adults and pediatrics.
• Maintain a compassionate, patient-centered approach; exemplify inclusivity and evidence-based practice.
• Participate in credentialing/licensure supervision requirements as applicable.

Position Overview:

• Role: Physician for Virtual Patient Care
• Location: Fully Remote
• Compensation: Approximately $120/hour
• Important Note:This is a 1099 contractor opportunity, provided that, this classification and rate of pay are subject to change based on the clinicians state of residence, applicable state employment and worker classification regulations, and the clinicians availability and involvement with SteadyMD, to ensure compliance with state-specific labor and wage requirements.

Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver patient care across SteadyMD's programs, including but not limited to: urgent care, weight management, lab review, remote patient monitoring and primary care.
• Conduct evaluations via video, phone (both scheduled and on-demand), and asynchronous communication with patients of all ages (adults and pediatrics).
• Serve a diverse patient population while exemplifying inclusivity and evidence-based clinical practices.
• Maintain a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care delivery.
• Participate in supervision requirements as applicable for credentialing and licensure.
• Active Physician (MD/DO) with:
• Minimum of 5 active state licenses and at least one license in the following states: GA, TN, IN, MO, SC, MS, AL
• OR Minimum of 10 active state licenses and at least one license in the following states: CA, FL, NY, TX, VA
• Board Certified, Family, Emergency or Internal Medicine Preferred
• 3 years of independent practice experience as a physician preferred
• Telemedicine or virtual care experience is preferred
• Proficiency with technology platforms for telemedicine delivery
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong professionalism and ability to work autonomously
• Must be able to learn quickly, adapt to quick pace, express empathy
