Job summary

Deliver care across urgent care, primary care, weight management, and remote monitoring via video, phone, or asynchronous messaging for adults and pediatrics. Requirements: MD or DO with 5+ active licenses (GA, TN, IN, MO, SC, MS, AL) or 10 licenses including CA/FL/NY/TX/VA;

Qualifications

• Active MD/DO with medical license in good standing.
• Board certification in Family, Emergency or Internal Medicine preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years in independent physician practice.
• Telemedicine or virtual care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care across SteadyMD programs: urgent care, weight management, lab review, remote patient monitoring, and primary care.
• Conduct evaluations via video, phone, and asynchronous communication for adults and pediatrics.
• Serve a diverse patient population with inclusivity and evidence-based clinical practices.
• Maintain a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care delivery.
• Participate in supervision requirements as applicable for credentialing and licensure.

Position Overview:

• Role: Physician for Virtual Patient Care
• Location: Fully Remote
• Compensation: Approximately $120/hour

Important Note:This is a 1099 contractor opportunity, provided that, this classification and rate of pay are subject to change based on the clinicians state of residence, applicable state employment and worker classification regulations, and the clinicians availability and involvement with SteadyMD, to ensure compliance with state-specific labor and wage requirements.

Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver patient care across SteadyMD's programs, including but not limited to: urgent care, weight management, lab review, remote patient monitoring and primary care.
• Conduct evaluations via video, phone (both scheduled and on-demand), and asynchronous communication with patients of all ages (adults and pediatrics).
• Serve a diverse patient population while exemplifying inclusivity and evidence-based clinical practices.
• Maintain a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care delivery.
• Participate in supervision requirements as applicable for credentialing and licensure.

Requirements

• Active Physician (MD/DO) with:
• Minimum of 5 active state licenses and at least one license in the following states: GA, TN, IN, MO, SC, MS, AL
• OR Minimum of 10 active state licenses and at least one license in the following states: CA, FL, NY, TX, VA
• Board Certified, Family, Emergency or Internal Medicine Preferred
• 3 years of independent practice experience as a physician preferred
• Telemedicine or virtual care experience is preferred
• Proficiency with technology platforms for telemedicine delivery
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong professionalism and ability to work autonomously
• Must be able to learn quickly, adapt to quick pace, express empathy
