Job summary

SteadyMD is seeking a Physician Assistant for virtual patient care across various programs, with a focus on urgent care, weight management, and primary care. The role is fully remote, offering flexible hours and a 1099 contractor arrangement.

The ideal candidate holds an active PA license in at least five states (CA required), NCCPA board certification, and 2 years of independent practice. Experience in weight loss medicine and telemedicine is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Physician Assistant (PA) license in at least 5 states, must be licensed in the state of California (CA).
• Must be licensed in the state you live in.
• Board Certified, specifically NCCPA.
• 2 years of in-person, independent practice experience as a PA.
• 1-year experience in weight loss medicine, including prescribing GLP1 agonists preferred.
• Background in Internal or Family Medicine preferred.
• Comfortable with telemedicine or virtual care.
• Remote work with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care across SteadyMD's programs, including urgent care, weight management, lab review, remote patient monitoring and primary care.
• Conduct evaluations via video, phone (scheduled and on-demand), and asynchronous communication with patients of all ages (adults and pediatrics).
• Serve a diverse patient population while exemplifying inclusivity and evidence-based clinical practices.
• Maintain a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care delivery.

Position Overview:

• Role: Physician Assistant for Virtual Patient Care
• Visit types: A combination of asynchronous and synchronous [majority async]
• Location: Fully Remote
• Compensation: Approximately $60/hour
• • Important Note: This is a 1099 contractor opportunity, provided that, this classification and rate of pay are subject to change based on the clinicians state of residence, applicable state employment and worker classification regulations, and the clinicians availability and involvement with SteadyMD, to ensure compliance with state-specific labor and wage requirements.
