Job Description

This Physician Relations Specialist will be responsible for conducting phone interviews with graduating residents and fellow physicians to gather their personal recruitment information, which healthcare organizations require to successfully recruit and place qualified physicians.

Essential Duties Include:

  1. Complete phone interviews with physicians to obtain their contact information and future practice preferences.
  2. Place outbound calls to physicians regarding future practice opportunities.
  3. Connect with residents/fellows on social media platforms.
  4. Inform physicians about PracticeMatch's career resources.
  5. Receive inbound calls from physicians, hospitals, and administrators.
  6. Work independently to meet daily and weekly quotas of call attempts and interviews.
  7. Produce between 80-100 calls each day.

Qualifications:

  • Superior listening skills and professional phone communication.
  • Experience using LinkedIn.
  • Self-motivation and assertiveness to achieve goals.
  • Experience with a sales approach towards gatekeepers.
  • Outbound call experience preferred.
  • High school degree or equivalent; experience in market research, sales, or customer support preferred.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Attention to detail, especially in data entry from physicians.
