Job description

Overview

The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek an Abdominal & Pelvic Imaging Radiologist to join the Department of Radiology. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Contributes to the day-to-day clinical operations of the Abdominal & Pelvic Imaging Division of the Department of Radiology.
• Provides high-quality patient care as related to the Abdominal & Pelvic imaging service.
• Contributes to clinical and imaging operations as related to the Abdominal & Pelvic imaging service.

Education, Training, and Faculty Development

• Conducts and provides clinical instruction, lectures, seminars, and related educational offerings, both within OSUWMC and at regional and national levels.
• Collaborates with faculty and leadership in the Division to develop and refine medical student, resident, and fellow training opportunities.
• Serves as a mentor and sponsor of residents, fellows, and faculty in the Department.

Research and Scholarship

• Supports clinical and translational research activities and innovation.
• May serve as PI or Co-I in grants and/or clinical trials.
• Serves on Department, OSUCOM, or OSUWMC committees to represent research and innovation interests as appropriate.

Job Requirements

• M.D., D.O., or Ph.D. in imaging and/or imaging-related fields.
• Board certification in Radiology (ABR, AOBR).
• Subspecialty fellowship in Abdominal & Pelvic imaging, or equivalent experience.
• Must possess or be eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Must support and embrace the diverse and inclusive culture of the College of Medicine, the Medical Center, and the University.

Position Details

Traditional in-person, 8am – 5pm coverage Monday – Friday for both part-time and full-time positions. Weekend and holiday coverage is limited and equitably shared among abdominal faculty. No evening or overnight call responsibilities. Remote or off-hours positions may be available for the right candidate.
