Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality psychiatric care to adults admitted for acute mental health needs.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, social workers, and behavioral health professionals.
• Opportunity to participate in outpatient care if desired.
• Work in a voluntary 19-bed inpatient unit.
• Exposure to treatments including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT), and ketamine therapies.

Johns Hopkins Community Physicians (JHCP) is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to join our collaborative and growing Behavioral Health team in Washington, DC.

This psychiatrist will serve as a key member of a multidisciplinary team providing high-quality psychiatric care to adults admitted for acute mental health needs. The ideal candidate is patient-centered, team-oriented, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment where providers support one another across services to ensure exceptional patient care.

Position Highlights
