Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking an Operations Coordinator for the Physician Practice MA role in Glenview. This full-time, salaried position supports multispecialty clinics with MA duties and office operations management.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, scheduling, cash handling, and process improvements while maintaining patient access and satisfaction. A CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA and BLS certification are required along with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), NCMA, CCMA or NRCMA certification required or equivalent.
• American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct front-line clinical and clerical staff.
• Participate in hiring, training, and performance reviews.
• Oversee day-to-day office operations within budget guidelines.
• Manage providers schedules and optimize patient care hours.
• Handle cash management including co-pays, patient balances, and deposits.
• Ensure service excellence and patient confidentiality.
