Description:We need to fill an ongoing locum need as the current locum is ending his assignment.The assignment is from September 28, 2026, to January 2, 2027.Due to temporary and permanent staffing gaps, locum support is necessary to maintain adequate coverage.This will ensure continuity of operations and prevent delays in pathology reads.The facility handles 40-60 blocks per day.It is a pathology lab equipped with a histotech and a PA that performs grossing.The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with every other weekend call (beeper).There are no patient encounters per shift.The facility does not require specific specialty skills such as surgical pathology or GI pathology.No additional skills in hematopathology, microbiology, or other areas are required.This position provides an opportunity for locum tenens physicians to engage in important work.Applicants must be board certified and able to meet the credentialing timeframe.
