Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a dedicated surgical pathologist for a full-time, on-site assignment in Maryland. You will work with a team handling general surgical pathology across GI, GU, breast, lung and skin, with non-GYN cytology requirements.

The role includes paid malpractice insurance and pre-paid travel and housing expenses, plus 24-hour consultant support. Ideal candidates bring strong surgical pathology credentials and comfort with high-case volumes, including 16,000 pathology

Qualifications

• Non-GYN cytologies required
• General surgical pathology experience expected across GI, GU, breast, lung and skin

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and sign out general surgical pathology cases (GI, GU, breast, lung, skin).
• Process and report 16,000 surgical pathology specimens annually.
• Handle 2,000 non-GYN cytology specimens annually.
