Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks a hospital-based pathologist in Douglas, GA, for a locum tenens assignment. The role focuses on surgical pathology and cytology, with about 70 cases per week and Monday–Thursday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, for 2 weeks per month on an ongoing basis.

The assignment includes grossing, roughly one frozen section per week, 6–12 months of leave coverage, paid malpractice, and prepaid travel and housing expenses, with Weatherby support throughout.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical pathology and cytology analyses.
• Grossing of specimens with occasional frozen sections (~1 per week).
• Provide coverage for leave with a 6–12 month initial commitment.
