Job summary

Pipeline Health in Los Angeles area is seeking a Physician Outreach Liaison to act as the primary contact between the hospital and medical staff, promoting services and improving patient access. Ideal candidates have at least five years in healthcare marketing and physician relations, with a valid California driver’s license and WPV training within 10 days

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of healthcare marketing/business development experience including physician relations.
• Experience with Skilled Nursing Facilities relationships, preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration preferred.
• Valid California Driver’s License required.
• DMV Minimum Liability Insurance required.
• Workplace Violence (WPV) required within 10 days of hire and annually thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Acts as liaison for Pipeline Health facilities with community physicians, other health care facilities, and community organizations to improve patient access.
• Identifies strategic targets and facilitates engagement to improve loyalty, patient access, and satisfaction.
• Promotes hospital services consultatively, determines customer needs, and recommends solutions to providers and customers.
• Maintains relationships with Skilled Nursing Facilities to ensure proper patient discharge back to referring SNF.
• Keeps an activity log, submits monthly reports of activity and results.
