Job summary

City of Hope is seeking a Physician Liaison to develop and maintain strong referral relationships with external physicians and their office staff across our Southern California footprint.

The role focuses on expanding community practice referrals, promoting City of Hope services, and supporting growth strategies for Duarte campus and related sites. 7+ years in healthcare-related roles is preferred, with solid MS Office, contracting, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Healthcare required or equivalent experience.
• Seven+ years in customer/physician relations or healthcare sales preferred.
• Experience with contracting and presenting to clinicians or administrators valued.
• Knowledge of oncology services and City of Hope programs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain relationships with referring physicians and office staff.
• Drive outreach to grow referrals and increase City of Hope recognition.
• Coordinate with community practice sites and Duarte campus on programs and services.
• Answer physician questions about facility capabilities, terms, and clinical trials.
• Analyze market opportunities by geography and ROI; identify value doctors.
• Support CME events and provider onboarding and communications.
