Job summary

Avera Ear, Nose & Throat Sioux Falls is seeking a physician to provide direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and care within a recognized area of practice. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

The role requires board-certified or eligible physicians, with a commitment to safety, confidentiality, and evidence-based practice; on-call coverage may apply as part of the schedule. A rewarding clinical environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Medical license in the state of practice required; board certification or eligibility as applicable.
• Active DEA license or eligibility at hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients according to approved protocols and standards.
• Provides medical services and health education to patients and families; promotes health education.
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed.
• Interprets diagnostic information and formulates a care plan.
• Maintains patient records and ensures accurate information.
• Collaborates with the care team to ensure quality patient care and appropriate referrals.

Education

Medical Doctor - Board of Medicine Licensed and qualified to practice medicine in the state that services are provided and board certified or board eligible

Doctor of Osteopathy - Board of Medicine Licensed and qualified to practice medicine in the state that services are provided and board certified or board eligible and board certified or board eligible

Federal Drug Enforcement Admin - US Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Admin State and federal DEA license based on state of practice
