Job summary

Avera Ear, Nose & Throat Mitchell is seeking a qualified physician to provide direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and patient care. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and health education to patients and families within approved protocols.

The role requires MD or DO licensure, board eligibility or certification, and active DEA licensure or eligibility, with on-call responsibilities and a collaborative work environment committed to moving

Qualifications

• MD or DO licensed to practice medicine in the service state; board certified or eligible.
• DEA license (federal/state) required; DEA registration upon hire.
• Ability to meet physical requirements and communicate effectively with patients and team.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients per approved protocols.
• Provide medical services and health education to patients and families.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Interpret diagnostic information and formulate a care plan.
• Maintain patient records with accurate information.
• Collaborate with care team and ensure appropriate referrals.

Education

Medical Doctor - Board of Medicine Licensed and qualified to practice medicine in the state that services are provided and board certified or board eligible

Doctor of Osteopathy - Board of Medicine Licensed and qualified to practice medicine in the state that services are provided and board certified or board eligible

Federal Drug Enforcement Admin - US Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Admin State and federal DEA license based on state of practice
