Description:An opportunity for an OB/GYN locum physician is available to provide inpatient labor and delivery coverage.The facility seeks a provider experienced in hospital-based obstetrical care.Responsibilities include labor floor management and gynecologic emergency coverage.Ongoing coverage is needed until a permanent provider is recruited.The schedule consists of a mix of day and night shifts with no call coverage required.Average daily census varies from 1 to 9 laboring patients.There is an average of 3 cesarean sections performed per day.The ideal candidate should confidently manage laboring patients and perform cesarean sections.This role focuses exclusively on inpatient labor and delivery coverage.The selected provider will support women's services until a permanent physician is in place.
