Odyssey Locums is seeking a TX Licensed OB Hospitalist for Corpus Christi, TX. Assignment runs 7/1/2026 - 12/31/2027, with 24-hour shifts and 2 positions available.

Responsibilities include obstetric/gynecologic care, deliveries when needed, surgical support, transports, and EMR documentation in a busy hospital setting. The role requires a minimum of 5 years OB experience, a clean file for temporary privileges, and availability for 3–5 shifts per month.

• Evaluate and manage unassigned obstetrical/gynecology patients.
• Deliveries when community physicians are unavailable.
• Assist in surgical procedures.

• Participate in quality improvement activities.
• Timely EMR documentation.
• H&P exams on unassigned admissions.
• Proficiency in fetal heart monitoring (NCC certification preferred).

The Role:

TX Licensed OB Hospitalist

• Location: Corpus Christi, TX 78418
• Assignment duration: 7/1/2026 - 12/31/2027
• Number of Positions: 2
• Shift Type: 8:00am - 8:00am (24-hour shifts)
• Site Charting System: Meditech
• Volume: Nearly 4000 births per year
• Maternal Level IV
• NICU Level III
• Minimum 5 years of OB experience required
• Must have clean file for temporary privileges
• Providers must be available to work 3-5 shifts per month
• Responsibilities include evaluation and management of unassigned obstetrical and gynecology patients, deliveries when community physicians are unavailable, surgical assist, coordination of transports, participation in quality improvement activities, timely EMR documentation, H&P exams on unassigned admissions, and proficiency in fetal heart monitoring (NCC fetal heart monitoring certification preferred)
