WVU Medicine, West Virginia University Health System Medical Group (WVUHS Medical Group), is actively recruiting Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our Acute Resource Group (ARG). The ARG supports our system Emergency Departments throughout West Virginia and Pennsylvania, with potential expansion to additional states. These physicians ensure high-quality, consistent emergency care across locations, currently utilizing Epic Electronic Medical System or adopting it soon.
The Department of Emergency Medicine has over 200 full-time members across diverse practice sites, offering various clinical experiences with academic affiliation to WVU's School of Medicine.
The WVU Health System is West Virginia's largest health system and employer, expanding in specialties like cancer, heart, vascular, and neuroscience. It operates West Virginia's only multi-organ transplant center and opened a new Children's Hospital in September 2022.
