WVU Medicine, West Virginia University Health System Medical Group (WVUHS Medical Group), is actively recruiting Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our Acute Resource Group (ARG). The ARG is an internal group of mobile physicians supporting our system Emergency Departments throughout West Virginia and Pennsylvania, with potential expansion to additional states. The ARG Emergency Medicine Physicians cover acute needs in our Emergency Departments, ensuring high-quality care. All facilities currently use Epic Electronic Medical System (or will adopt Epic within the next 12 months).
The Department of Emergency Medicine has over 200 full-time members across diverse sites, offering various clinical experiences with academic affiliation to WVU's School of Medicine.
The WVU Health System is West Virginia's largest health system and employer, with expansion in many specialties, operating the state's only multi-organ transplant center, and a new Children's Hospital opened in September 2022.
Provides healthcare in Bluefield, known for its quality of life, outdoor activities, and affordable housing.
A critical access hospital serving Braxton County and surrounding areas, offering emergency and outpatient services.
