Qualifications

• MD, DO, or equivalent degree.
• Successful completion of ACGME-accredited residency training.
• Medical license or eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Texas.
• Board certification by an ABMS member board corresponding to the residency.
• Established record of clinical practice and medical teaching.

Responsibilities

• Provide faculty leadership in clinical science, clinical reasoning, and clinical skills education across the pre-clerkship curriculum.
• Lead and participate in formative and summative assessment of clinical knowledge, reasoning, and skills (e.g., OSCEs, case-based assessments).
• Offer formative feedback, coaching, mentoring, and educational support to medical students; participate in faculty development.
• Engage in scholarship and academic engagement aligned with medical education; contribute to governance and program development.
