This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program approval, including award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years), is determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services after review of the application. Former EDRP participants are ineligible to apply.

Basic Requirements:
We seek an enthusiastic internist with a passion for medical education for a full-time Medical Director position at our Jamaica Plain, Boston location. The role includes approximately 51% clinical time in a large primary care practice serving 6,000 patients with access to multiple specialties. Responsibilities include practice oversight, provider supervision, operational management, clinical performance, longitudinal patient care, educational initiatives, precepting, and quality improvement. Prior experience in medical education, population management, evidence-based guidelines, and adult learning principles is preferred.
