Job summary

Helio Health, Inc. in Rochester is seeking a Part-time Physician to manage and coordinate medical services for patients in our Comprehensive Outpatient Opioid Treatment program.

You will provide direct care, monitor conditions, implement orders, and work with staff and community providers. The role pays $130.00–$150.00 per hour and requires NYS physician licensure, DEA prescriptive authority, and at least one year of substance abuse treatment experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed physician registered by NYS Education Department.
• At least one year of experience in treatment of substance abuse and/or dependency.
• Prescriptive authority and a DEA number.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• The Physician works independently under supervision of the Service Director or Regional VP and medical supervision of the Medical Director.
• Provide direct patient care of medical examination and monitoring, implementation of medical orders, diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.
• Serve on special review and quality assurance committees as assigned.
• Provide and document medical consultation, assessment, examination, treatment planning and review.
• On-call responsibilities required for specific levels of care.
• Other related assignments and duties consistent with training and experience.

Overview

Helio Health is on a mission to treat and promote recovery from the effects of substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. To support the mission of Helio Health, the Physician will provide management and coordination of services to patients participating in our treatment programs.

The Physician will work on aPart Time basis out of Helio Health’s Rochester Comprehensive Outpatient Opioid TreatmentProgram (OTP).

Pay Rate:$130.00- $150.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• The Physician works independently under the administrative supervision of the Service Director or Regional Vice President and the medical and clinical supervision of the Medical Director and/or Physician.
• The Physician works with patients, agency staff and volunteers, community agencies and other providers of medical/psychiatric services.
• Provide direct patient care of medical examination and monitoring, implementation of medical orders, diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.
• Serve on special review and quality assurance committees as assigned.
• Provide and document medical consultation, assessment, examination, treatment planning and review consistent with agency policy and requirements.
• On-call responsibilities required for specific levels of care.
• Other related assignments and duties consistent with training and experience.
