Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) seeks an experienced, autonomous Physician to join our clinical team part-time, providing primary and episodic care to residents in skilled nursing facilities.

This independent role lets you build your own patient panel and relationships with patients and their families, with balanced rounds and no on-call duties. You will chart from home and use integrated tech to support fast, clean documentation.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified (BC) Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics (or equivalent).
• Valid, unrestricted physician license in the state of operation.
• Successful completion of an accredited residency program.
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• See roughly 16–25 patients a day in a mix of long-term chronic care and acute issues.
• Perform annual wellness visits and H&Ps; manage chronic and co-morbid conditions.
• Review medications and orders; coordinate with collaborating specialists and facility staff for seamless care.
• Join care conferences with families where appropriate.

About the Role

Your Day-to-Day
