Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) is seeking an experienced Physician to join our clinical team part-time, providing primary and episodic care to residents in skilled nursing facilities.

You will manage your own panel and build long-term relationships with patients and families. Expect 6-hour shifts, charting from home, and a productivity-based compensation model with a long-term retention incentive up to $50,000.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics (or equivalent).
• Valid, unrestricted physician license in Indiana.
• Successful completion of an accredited residency program.
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience strongly preferred.
• Strong independent clinical judgment and the ability to move quickly in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• See roughly 16–25 patients per day in long-term chronic care and acute issues.
• Perform annual wellness visits and H&Ps; manage chronic and co-morbid conditions.
• Respond to acute changes and coordinate with collaborating specialists and facility staff.
• Join care conferences and communicate with families when appropriate.
• Chart from home using integrated EHR and ensure documentation is complete.

About the Role

Your Day-to-Day
