Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) seeks an experienced Physician to join our clinical team in a full-time role. You will manage your own patient panel, delivering primary and episodic care in skilled nursing facilities.

Enjoy flexible 6-hour shifts (7–10 a.m. rounds) with no on-call or overnights, chart from home, and a potential $50k retention incentive plus comprehensive benefits. Expect 16–25 daily patients, EHR-enabled documentation, and collaboration with facility staff.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics.
• Valid, unrestricted physician license in the state of operation.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• See roughly 16–25 patients daily with chronic and acute care needs.
• Perform wellness visits and H&Ps and manage chronic conditions.
• Respond to acute changes and coordinate with specialists and facility staff.
• Engage families and participate in care conferences as appropriate.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced, autonomous Physicianto join our clinical team full time, providing primary and episodic care toresidents in skilled nursing facilities. This is an independent role builtaround continuity you'll manage your own panel and build long-termrelationships with patients and their families.

Your Day-to-Day

You'll see roughly 16–25 patients a day a mixof long-term chronic care and acute issues. That means annual wellness visitsand H&Ps, managing chronic and co-morbid conditions, responding to acutechanges, reviewing meds and orders, and coordinating with collaboratingspecialists and facility staff to keep care seamless. You'll also stay in touchwith families and join care conferences where it makes sense.

Qualifications

• MDor DO from an accredited medical school.
• BoardCertified (BC) required InternalMedicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics (or equivalent).
• Valid,unrestricted physician license in the state of operation.
• Mustbe opted-in with Medicare
• Successfulcompletion of an accredited residency program.
• Skillednursing or long-term care experience strongly preferred.
• Strongindependent clinical judgment and the ability to move quickly in a fast-paced setting.
