Job summary

Real Radiology, LLC is seeking a Physician Licensing Specialist to manage licensing processes for radiologist physicians. This full-time, on-site role ensures state medical licenses are submitted correctly and applications are tracked.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and experience with licensing or credentialing. You will work with licensing boards, maintain records, and support a fast-paced teleradiology practice.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain and complete state license applications for initial and renewals as requested.
  • Proof all applications and prepare for signatures from physician.
  • Coordinate with accounting to obtain and submit license fees.
  • Request verifications and track status with state boards.
  • Stay updated on licensing requirements for assigned states.
  • Develop relationships with licensing board personnel.
  • Communicate with state boards to address deficiencies and timing.
  • Document all actions in the system for accuracy.
  • Escalate issues to management.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

The Role

The Physician Licensing Specialist is responsible for completing the licensing processes for physician radiologists of Real Radiology. The PLS ensures that state medical licenses are submitted appropriately and checks the status of license applications for assigned states. This position is full time and in the office during regular business hours.

Job Functions
  • Obtain and complete state license applications for both initial and renewals as requested by Physician Licensing Ambassadors
  • Proof all applications and prepare for signatures from physician
  • Obtain fees from accounting to complete submissions
  • Request verifications to be sent directly back to states
  • Stay updated on State Board licensing requirements for assigned states
  • Develop relationships with key personnel at licensing boards
  • Communicate with State Boards to identify application deficiencies and submit corrections or determine expected timing of issuance
  • Document all actions in system to provide and maintain accurate information
  • Escalate issues to management
  • Other tasks as assigned by management
