Job summary

Real Radiology seeks a Physician Licensing Specialist to manage licensing processes for physician radiologists. The role ensures state licenses are submitted properly and status tracked; it operates full time in-office during regular business hours in Omaha.

The ideal candidate will coordinate with licensing boards, verify applications, stay current on requirements, and maintain accurate records while supporting a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years licensing/credentialing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain and complete state license applications for initial and renewals as requested by Licensing Ambassadors.
  • Proof all applications and prepare for signatures from physicians.
  • Obtain fees from accounting to complete submissions.
  • Request verifications to be sent directly back to states.
  • Stay updated on State Board licensing requirements for assigned states.
  • Develop relationships with key personnel at licensing boards.
  • Communicate with State Boards to identify deficiencies and submit corrections or expected timing of issuance.
  • Document all actions in the system to provide and maintain accurate information.
  • Escalate issues to management and perform other tasks as assigned.
