Job summary

PT Solutions is seeking a Physician Liaison to maintain relationships with key customers and interface with healthcare providers in the Lakeland/Tampa territory. You will work with the Sales Director to understand plans and deliver quality clinical sales presentations to close business with targeted customers.

The role supports national sales goals by driving referrals and executing marketing strategies for the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years relevant experience in healthcare sales.
• Two+ years of experience in a customer/public relations position, preferably in physician services, pharmaceutical/medical sales or related health care field.
• Availability to travel within region 80% of work time, which may include overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Executes sales tactics and delivers effective sales presentations with passion and consistently asks for the business.
• Exhibits an in-depth understanding of the healthcare marketplace and the sales processes that directly and indirectly affects sales goal attainment.
• Identifies, develops and maintains customer relationships and conducts programs to support the marketing strategy.
• Prioritizes efforts and resources based on knowledge of Physical Therapy services and territory dynamics for effective coverage.
• Understands Industry, Workers Compensation, and Occupational Therapy opportunities in Physical Therapy marketplace.
• Builds hospital system knowledge, relationships and opportunities in the community, partnering with accounts and positioning against competition.
• Understands Physician Networks, IDNs, ACOs and consolidation trends; opportunities in marketplace.
• Demonstrates knowledge of Insurance and Managed Care marketplaces, reimbursement processes and procedures.
• Develops Sports Medicine relationships aligned with corporate objectives in the market.
• Manages territory resource allocation to maximize profitability.
• Monitors performance against strategic objectives/directives.
