TidalHealth invites applications for its ACGME-accredited Healthcare Administration Leadership and Management (HALM) Fellowship, a one-year program designed for physicians seeking to develop leadership, administrative, and management skills to become effective healthcare executives and physician leaders.

Under mentorship of physician executives and health system leaders, fellows gain experience in health care administration, strategic planning, governance, finance, quality improvement,

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency, AOA-approved residency, ACGME-I, RCPSC or CFPC-accredited residency.
• Master’s degree in business administration or related health care administration field.
• Eligibility for Maryland medical license and clinical privileges in applicant's specialty.
• Interest in developing as a physician executive; leadership experience preferred.
• Fellows continue clinical practice in their primary specialty ~25% of the time.
• J-1 visa sponsorship may be considered; H-1B sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Participate in executive leadership meetings and organizational committees.
• Engage in structured didactic experiences and system-level projects.
• Complete a capstone project focused on organizational improvement.
