TidalHealth invites applications for its HALM Fellowship, a one-year ACGME-accredited program designed for physicians to build leadership, administrative, and management skills to become healthcare executives and physician leaders. Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program, AOA-approved residency program, ACGME-International Advanced Specialty Accreditation program, or RCPSC-/CFPC-accredited residency program in Canada.
• Completion of a master's degree in business administration or another field related to health care administration, leadership, and management.
• Eligibility for a Maryland medical license.
• Eligibility for clinical privileges at TidalHealth within the applicant's specialty.
• Demonstrated interest in healthcare leadership, administration, management, quality improvement, or organizational performance. Leadership experience during residency and/or clinical practice preferred.
• Candidates with post-residency clinical experience are encouraged to apply.
• J-1 visa sponsorship may be considered on a case-by-case basis through ECFMG.
• H-1B sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Gain practical experience in healthcare administration and operations.
• Engage in strategic planning, governance, and executive decision-making.
• Lead initiatives in finance, quality improvement, and population health.
• Participate in executive leadership meetings and organizational committees.
• Develop a capstone project focused on organizational improvement.
