Job summary

Indian Health Service is seeking physicians to deliver patient-centered medical care across generations in a mission-driven setting. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, provide comprehensive evaluations and treatments, and contribute to ongoing clinical improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited US/Canadian school.
• Active, unrestricted physician license from US territory/state.
• Graduate training in a recognized residency program in a medical specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert patient-centered medical care including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute, chronic, and preventive health needs within specialty.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe, effective, and coordinated care.
• Perform specialty-specific diagnostic, therapeutic, and/or surgical procedures as credentialed.
• Contribute to teaching, mentorship, and professional development of medical staff and students.
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical innovation initiatives.
