Job summary

The Indian Health Service in the United States seeks a physician to deliver patient-centered care across diverse settings. You will diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of health needs while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective care and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from US/Canada with appropriate accreditation.
• Current, active medical license in the United States.
• US citizenship and compliance with Selective Service as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert patient-centered medical care across acute, chronic, and preventive needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective care.
• Perform specialty-appropriate procedures per training and credentialing.
• Contribute to teaching, mentorship, and professional development.
• Engage in quality improvement and clinical innovation initiatives.

Education

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from US/Canada with appropriate accreditation
