Opportunity Information

This is an opportunity to work with a world renowned transplant group in managing a diverse panel of transplant, hepatology, gastroenterology, cardiology, nephrology and general internal medicine patients. Hospitalist work will integrate general and perioperative medicine, liver disease, complex GI, advanced heart failure and specialty cardiac care, and end organ disease management into a team that maximizes patient satisfaction and outcomes. Oversee care for medically complex patients while working closely with a full complement of consult services, a top notch radiology service and an interactive inpatient pharmacy team.

The service load is designed to provide excellent work life balance while allowing careful and considered care for each patient at Sutter Health's Flagship Hospital. CPMC (a Leapfrog Group Top Hospital) has been considered the best hospital in the Bay Area (San Francisco Chronicle reader survey) and the 'Healthiest Hospital in America' (Natural Health magazine).

• 1.0 FTE is equivalent to 14 shifts/28 days
• Shifts are either regular Day shifts or Swing Shifts (3pm – 10pm)
• Opportunity to work with top tiered subspecialists in the country
• Medical Center (CPMC) in San Francisco, CA.

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Internal Medicine
• Active and unrestricted CA Medical License
• Experience with tertiary care medicine is highly preferred

SWBMG is a multi specialty medical association made up of over 160 members operating in San Francisco. SWBMG works in partnership with Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation (SPMF), a not for profit organization providing care through its affiliation with SWBMG. Physicians work as a team to provide patient focused care that encourages a sense of teamwork.

SPMF provides physicians with an administrative infrastructure, allowing physicians to focus on patient care.
